Career Services

Segue Center has found that different clients benefit from access to a variety of career and prevocational services to best support their successful transition to the workforce. Depending on where clients are in their career journey, we offer individualized services to address each client’s unique - and sometimes evolving - needs with our expertise especially with neurodivergent needs and opportunities.

Segue Serves: Guided Community Service & Pre-vocational Skills (In-Person)

A small group focused on pre-vocational soft skills, guided community service opportunities, and a restaurant lunch in the community. Monday group visits a nearby senior living facility, and Wednesday groups serve at a local cat cafe.

$3500/semester or 5 payments of $700.
Includes the cost of restaurant lunches and transportation to/from community service

Mondays 10:00am - 2:00pm (Senior Living Facility)

Begins August 17

Community service at a senior living facility where participants assist the activity director with recreation with the senior residents. Included restaurant lunches rotate between Maple Leaf Diner, Torchy’s Tacos, Mendocino Farms, and Chili’s Bar & Grill. Prevocational and social skills support included back at the center outside of the volunteering time.

Registration spots limited.

Wednesdays 10:00am - 2:00pm (Cat Cafe)

Begins August 19

Community service at a a local cat cafe/cat rescue where participants assist with socializing cats and/or doing behind-the-scenes cleaning support for the cafe. Included restaurant lunches rotate between Rodeo Goat, Torchy’s Tacos, Keller’s Drive-In, and Chili’s Bar & Grill. Prevocational and social skills support included back at the center outside of the volunteering time.

Neuro-inclusive Career Development
(In-Person and Virtual Options)

Fridays 10:00am - 11:30pm
Begins August 21

$2500/semester or 5 payments of $500

Career Assessments (In-Person and Virtual Options)

$800/assessment

Segue Center staff is trained and certified to administer the Greenwood System 120™, an evidence-based, research-based, and peer-reviewed assessment designed to provide career guidance based upon an individual’s unique interests, abilities, values, and personality.

The Greenwood System 120™ produces a member profile that includes the Myers-Briggs personality type. the Grit score, and the Holland code.

On-site job coaching and individual community service experiences are also available. The scope and price of those individual services are made by agreement after an initial free consultation. 

*Note: At intake we will let you know if there are ways in which we feel we can benefit your job search in the current job market. We are confident we can help with your executive function follow-through on your job search goals, and our expertise with neurodivergent pathways to employment also may help you find leads you had not previously considered. We also can always provide indvidualized support with interview skills, networking skills, resumes and applications that you may be having a hard time doing on your own.
